SISTERS OF CHARITY FOUNDATION AWARDS $$632,127

Canton, Ohio (June 2, 2026) The Board of Directors of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton has announced $632,127 in grants for the first and second quarters of 2026.

Foundation President Marisa Rohn stated, “Our work is made possible by the many organizations that partner with our Foundation to lift people out of poverty. Not only do we fund, but we work alongside these nonprofits to assist with strategizing, providing for personnel and program needs, and building capacity through training, strategic planning, and more. Our Board of Directors believes in strategically devoting staff time and awarding funds to help organizations best meet the needs of our community.”

The following are the first and second quarter grants awarded:

Boys and Girls Club of Massillon , to support Project Learn, after-school program

St. Francis of Assisi Parish , to support Building Bridges program, over two years

Alliance Area Domestic Violence Project , to support capacity building through strategic plan

Early Childhood Resource Center , to support capacity building through identifying new efficiencies to improve the SPARK Kindergarten Readiness program

Lighthouse Ministries of Canton , to support after-school program at Belden Elementary, over 22 months
